Can’t Take My Eyes Out of You is a commentary on the ubiquitous, pervasive presence of technology and surveillance in our daily life before and even more since the COVID-19 pandemic turned our lives into digital bubbles. This video was realised using Augmented Reality objects, such as the title and the multiple screens and shot in real indoor and outdoor locations. The artist is present in the work as a ghostly float of pixels. This video is a portrait of the artists in 2020-2021, when her access to the world was inevitably always mediated by screens.
