The Jellyfish Cinema was a pop-up event and collaboration with artist Pramila Vasudevan. The project was made possible by the Art for Hope Mini grant Round II by Forecast Public Art.
The Jellyfish Cinema was a three days outdoor community engaged experiences, including experimental light and projections mappings and a showcases of local and international artists’ short movies. This project was a response to the social isolation imposed by COVID and a way in which Pramila and I want to work within the creative possibilities that can blossom from constraints of space. We were very happy to connect our international community with the neighborhood and the artists living in the Twin Cities.
